Sue's daughter Morag is a qualified and experienced doctor, married to another such, and living in a farmhouse and running a farm and bringing up a lovely family; but to me she is Moggy, who manages to do all this and still be a simple and loving friend who has been for many years like an extra daughter. So it was a great joy when she visited me last Saturday. A lot was going on at the same time while she was here, but we did have time together.
By the way, her husband's family are Liddells, the family that include Alice, the heroine of Alice in Wonderland. Her in-laws, Adrian and Anne, are charming and hospitable people. Sue and I spent a holiday with them in the south of France a few months before Sue's death.
