(Street in Somerset, that is)
This is now my personal blog, for sharing what is important to me as I deal with cancer. For all that has been, thanks; for all that will be, yes.
Hello David, This is a remarkable rendering of the lovely Bach Chaconne, part two. You play it in an expressive, yet strong way, and I can see that you are right in there in the meditation. Bravo Bach and Bravo David. It looks fiendishly difficult to be playing, Left Hand alone, but needs must, and in your courageous way, you have achieved an amazing piece of Bach performance that will inspire us all.
This is the blog of the late David Parsons of Street, Somerset. When he was diagnosed with advanced cancer in January 2009, David decided to use this medium to share things that were important to him. In these last weeks he also wrote up his life story.
