What Robert and I scanned today

Today I had lots of lovely visitors, my daughter Rowena, my brother Robert and sister-in-law Elizabeth, my daughter's in-laws Cass and Harold. We all went out for lunch, with Charlie, to the Ring o' Bells in Ashcott, and had a jolly good meal.

Later, Robert and I had a look at old photos, and we scanned several prints and several negatives, and identified what and whom we could. The picture I was most excited at seeing was the tennis party in Alders, Foxrock. That garden is one of my earliest memories, and to see it well filled with young tennis players was good - Granny had been so insistent on having a tennis court; before the war it was the way of socialising.

I hope that if you click on the picture below you will see a slide show of what we scanned.
