Renewing an old acquaintance

While I was snapping away at the McCarthy and Stone building site, two men came to their van where I was, and we chatted. The older man commented that the façade they were building was not the usual M&S type. When I told them I knew the two M&S buildings in Downend they did a double-take. Apparently they are father and son, and they live in Downend and worked on the building by Christ Church. The son went to the church Junior School, leaving 9 or 10 years ago. We didn't recognise each other, but when I said I was the man who used to bring the Tiger puppet into assembly, he remembered very well!

Small world, isn't it?
